Shine Covid 19 Urgent Information

Urgent Update
It is with a heavy heart that Shine has found itself in the middle of some misinformation & some Covid 19 controversy. We are deeply concerned and are going to attempt to be as transparent as possible and hopefully set the record straight.
We were contacted this morning (March 23, 2020), by a concerned individual, who felt that Shine had made errors in how we have conducted our business throughout the Covid 19 pandemic.
We have uploaded a document, to our website, that hopefully addresses the misinformation. We apologize for the length of the document and have made every attempt to ensure that the information is accurate and relevant.

Through all of the Covid 19 chaos we missed a couple of status updates....

* As of Friday 03/20/2020 we reverted from extemely limited hair services to a complete halt of all services. The few remaining appointments were contacted and postponed until we get the all clear to reopen.

* Over the weekend we had tossed around the idea of taking requests for product and possibly either delivering (similar to skip the dishes) or providing a safe pick up option. We have since re-thought that idea and feel that even the slightest risk is too much. So no product until everything subsides.

We want to express a heart felt thank you to everyone for your well wishes and over abundance of support through these trying times. Be safe!

Shine's Covid 19 Update (03/18/2020)

Out of an abundance of caution the Shine Family has decided, effective immediately, to temporarily reduce the services offered at Shine. The health and welfare of our guests, and team, is very important to us and, after careful consideration with our Stylists & Estheticians, we have made the decision to have the Shine Family take a step back, spend more time with their families, and look after their well being.

On April 2nd we will reassess the Covid 19 outbreak, with our Shine Family, and make a decision on whether to have everyone return to work, and resume full services, or continue the current course with our Covid 19 suppression plan. Over the next 2 weeks Shine will not be providing spa, or nail services, and will only be providing limited hair services.

We will be contacting guests, that have appointments booked, to let them know that their appointments will need to be postponed and we promise to reach out to everyone once we have made the decision to fully re-open again.

We will continue to monitor the status of the Covid 19 Outbreak, and the direction from the BC Gov't / Minister of Health, daily and should things change we will update everyone as soon as we can.

We want to apologize for any inconvenience this decision may have caused, and would like to thank everyone for their continued support, and understanding, through these uncertain & trying times.

We at Shine are helping do our part in keeping everyone as safe and healthy as possible. We are disinfecting high touch areas more often, washing our hands as much as possible, and have saniitizer available for guest use at our front counter! Know through all of this, that we promise to keep your experience, at Shine, the very best. We want our guests to feel like they can still come to Shine to relax and unwind and not have to worry about their visit.
